What is troupe?
troupe runs your development process with agents and people in named roles.
The idea
Section titled “The idea”A software team has roles: product owner, engineer, reviewer, release manager. In troupe, each role is held by an agent or a person, and your process runs through them: specify, build, test, release, and again.
What makes it different
Section titled “What makes it different”- Work branches. Tasks fork, join, swarm and loop, instead of one agent working in a line.
- Decisions go to the right person. When a call needs making, the agent does the research first (the issues, the docs, the relevant standard) and brings a decision brief to whoever holds that role.
- Everything is recorded. Every decision carries its lineage: who made it, human or agent, what it was based on, who approved it, and where its results went.
- It lives in your project. Everything is kept in git, on your machine. There is no hosted service.
Where it is now
Section titled “Where it is now”troupe is pre-alpha. See Status and roadmap.
